Nifty opened flat to negative on the back of bad global cues and when it seemed like the Index is trying to move above the dotted line, all hell broke. The index dipped more than 100 points from the highs of the day with Bears in total control. Nifty ultimately closed the day near the lows at 4941.60 a loss of 82.65. The new series added around 10 lacs and the total OI is just 1.53 Crore, which is less than normal and can easily be manipulated by the big players.
- Call option 4700-5300 added 42.3 lacs huge amount of OI.
- Put Option 4800-4400 added 33.9 lacs huge amount of OI, with liquidation seen at 4900 and above strike prices.
- Highest accumulation on Call option 5000 at 48.3 lacs & 5100 at 41.2 lacs whereas Put option 4500 at 65.9 lacs & 4800 at 53.3 lacs.
- Nifty Open Interest is at 1,53,72,250 up by 10,21,550 with decrease in price, most probably huge short build-up.
- Bank Nifty Open Interest is at 20,96,700 up by 1,44,000 with decrease in price, most probably huge short build-up.
- FII’s sold huge 10.99 lacs of Futures most probably huge short build-up, as their OI also increased by 11.67 lacs, and their average price per contract comes to around 4696.
- FII’s open contract in Nifty Future as on date is 3.04 lacs.
- PCR Open Interest (Volume) is still good due to addition at lower levels and now at 1.460.
- Solid support for the series is developing around 4500 level and initial support at 4800 with OI of 53.3 lacs.
- Resistance is right now at 5000 with highest OI of 48.3 lacs and above that at 5100 with OI of over 41 lacs.
- Range as per Option Table is 4919 -4794 and as per VIX is 4774 - 4909 with 4870 as the Pivot.
