Nifty opened strong on the back of good global cues but it seems like the Bears love it and sold to move the index below the dotted lines. The index moved down with each passing hour to close just above the lows at 5677.90, a huge loss of 49.95 points. The broader market was weak, with just 332 advances to 843 declines. Huge addition was seen at 5700CE, above which could see a fast rise towards 5800.
- Call option 5500-6100 added 33.26 lacs huge amount OI with profit booking seen at 6300 and above strike prices.
- Put option 5600-5300 added 22.95 lacs huge amount of OI with short covering seen at 5700 and above strike prices.
- Highest accumulation on Call option 6000 at 69.51 lacs & 5900 at 48.74 lacs whereas Put option 5700 at 60.10 lacs & 5600 at 52.43 lacs.
- Nifty Open Interest is at 1,54,49,500 down by 9,68,350, with decrease in price, most probably huge long liquidation.
- Bank Nifty Open Interest is at 23,38,250, down by 1,175, with decrease in price, most probably small long liquidation.
- FII’s sold 9.79 lacs Futures, mostly long liquidation, as their net OI decreased by 26695 contracts and the average price per contract comes to around 5581.16.
- FII’s future open contract as on date is 369740.
- PCR Open Interest (Volume) has gone huge to 1.026.
- Highest OI on PE side at 5700, but price just below it, next level of support at 5600 with huge addition for the day at 10.39 lacs.
- Initial resistance at 5800, with OI of 42.93 lacs and above that at 5900 with huge OI of 48.74 lacs.
- Day Range as per Option Table is 5625 - 5764 and as per VIX is 5616 - 5740 with 5696 as the Pivot.
